Heywood is just north of Manchester only 3 miles from Rochdale and is a 13 th Century Town effectively built by Robert Peel the father of Sir Robert Peel the founder of the Police. With a thriving town centre combing the historic St Lukes Church and a modern shopping centre and concourse. Equally a visit to Bury Market is well worth a trip. Within Heywood and the surrounding area there is plenty of time to stop and watch the world go by and have a coffee, a meal or a few evening drinks.
